School’s out! And what better way to celebrate than with our half term lodge holidays at Bovey Castle, fit for the whole family?

Enjoy a fun-filled half term getaway and take part in a host of exhilarating activities here at Bovey Castle. Come and meet our furry and feathered residents, spending your morning with our friendly ferrets and helping our team feed the chickens, before heading to the terrace for a Bird’s of Prey display.

Cram each day full-to-the-brim with adventure and play. There’s plenty of things to do here – why not challenge your family to a round of croquet, or an energetic tennis match? Take on the brass rubbing trail, then take a dip in the Elan Spa pool, where the adults can relax in the steam room and sauna. Don’t forget to explore the many wonders to be found throughout the beautiful Dartmoor National Park, we run a range of bookable Dartmoor tours, and you can pick up a walking guide from the resort desk.

You will also have a £150 credit to use against any of our activities. Why not summon your inner Robin Hood with an archery session, practice your aim with a spot of air rifle shooting, or take on our 4×4 off road driving track. We also have indoor options for our young explorers, who can visit our KidsZone and TechZone for some interactive indoor entertainment.

After a busy day of adventuring and making memories, you can retire to your very own luxury, self-catered country lodge. Here you can relax by a roaring fire, enjoy summertime BBQs, or take in the beautiful views, all in the company of your nearest and dearest. Each lodge sleeps families of up to eight (based on maximum six adults and two children), and boasts:

• Three en-suite double bedrooms
• Fully equipped open plan kitchen
• TV and household appliances
• Laundry facilities, including dryer
• Infant cots available on request
• Dog friendly (cage available on request)
• A designated carpark for lodge guests

During your visit you’ll also have access to all the facilities and bookable experiences available here at the hotel, as well as everything the rolling Devon moors have to offer. Plus, there is a full lodge menu offering for breakfast, and dinner should you not feel like cooking at any point during your stay. This can be pre-ordered for delivery to your lodge and ranges from DIY breakfast hampers to fully prepared delicious, cooked meals that are ready to serve and enjoy.
