“Couldn’t recommend it enough”

Delightful afternoon tea at Bovey Castle yesterday, the best I’ve had. Stunning location in opulent grounds. Absolutely wonderful, attentive, warm staff. The food was to die for and plenty of it and I couldn’t recommend it enough..

“Lovely atmosphere”

Bovey Castle is a little challenging to access so if you’re nervous of country roads, you may wish someone else to drive you in but there’s a parking service and plenty of parking spaces once you’re there. The hotel is all on a step free level and plenty of support from staff if you had any additional needs. We opted for the vegetarian afternoon tea which was no problem and absolutely delicious. Easy to upgrade your choices on the day and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant.

“Staff who just can’t do enough for you”

Temperature in the room was just right and we enjoyed a lovely walk around the grounds afterwards. Lovely touches at the hotel such as towels and fresh water for dogs, blankets for chilly nights and lovely private nooks or open patios.. glorious. Overriding highlight is the staff who just can’t do enough for you… we will return!
