Learn the basics of this classic countryside sport with one of our expert Activities Team members and with a bit of luck, you might even land a brown trout!
 
All equipment is provided, and if you’re feeling confident after your lesson, you’re welcome to continue fishing for the rest of the day it’s all included in the price.
Perfect for beginners looking to experience a peaceful and rewarding pastime in our stunning estate setting.
 
Lessons available from 1st March – 30th September
If you have your own kit, you are welcome to purchase a permit from the resort desk for £20, to fish on the lake on a catch and release basis, space permitting.
 
 
Please note, participants must have their own fishing rod license, these can be purchased online on the GOV.UK website. Junior licences for children will need to obtained for children 13 to 16. Junior licences are free.  Carers accompanying someone who is fishing do not need a licence unless they’re fishing themselves. Children under 13 do not need a licence.  Fishing rod licences will need to be presented at the Activities Desk
