Bovey Castle is the perfect fishing hotel – not least because you can fish our stocked lake on the Bovey Castle estate. In addition to the estate fishing, Bovey Castle offers angling for brown trout, salmon and sea trout on many miles of the Upper Teign, a 10 minute drive from the hotel.
We can also arrange a professional instructor or guide for you, offering expert fly fishing tuition. Our guides can help you to get the most from your fishing while you are here with us. Our introduction sessions with one of the activities team for guests who are new to the pursuit are available in small group numbers. Have a go and learn the basics of casting a fly and some of the more traditional techniques.
