You will be welcomed at the hotel by our knowledgeable guide before setting off on a gentle walk along the woodland path that winds its way to the deer park on our historic estate. The stroll itself is a delight, offering the chance to enjoy fresh Dartmoor air and the tranquillity of our beautiful grounds.

Once at the park, you will be introduced to our herd of fallow deer. As they are fed, the deer will come closer, creating a unique opportunity to observe these graceful animals up close. This is the perfect moment for fantastic photography, as the deer gather around and you hear fascinating insights into their lives, behaviour and role within the Bovey Castle landscape. The experience offers a wonderful blend of education, nature and relaxation, making it suitable for both adults and families alike.
