Join Joss, a passionate local Dartmoor potter, for an exciting and fun workshop where she'll share the foundational skills of pottery throwing. You'll work with beautiful, locally sourced Dartmoor clay, learning the techniques Joss uses to keep the tradition of the potter's wheel alive.

Step into a true Dartmoor Pottery Studio and discover the joy of shaping clay. Joss loves passing on her knowledge in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, making this the perfect opportunity to explore your creativity. Who knows, this workshop might just open a door to the fascinating world of pottery, and you may never look back!

Please note, this session is introductory and will be focusing in on learning the foundations and building your skills, pottery is not able to be taken home at this moment in time. Minimum of 2 guests for the session to go ahead. 

Additionally, these sessions are for adults only (16+). Unfortunately, children may not attend. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.  

 

90 minute and 180 minute sessions available.
