The concept of our wildflower meadow is to ensure it embodies a complex interplay between biodiversity, ecological stability, and aesthetic value. Wildflower meadows are characterized by their diverse assemblage of flowering plants that thrive without the intensive management typically associated with cultivated gardens. We have carefully selected our flower varieties, so that these ecosystems can serve as vital habitats for numerous species, including pollinators such as bees and butterflies, which play crucial roles in maintaining the health of our environment through pollination.

The meadow blooms from spring to early autumn. Each year the seeds are saved and scattered to ensure future growth. You will find a display of apple trees dispersed through the meadow; these were chosen for their varied blossoming periods. Some of the varieties include Cheddar Cross, Devonshire Quarrenden, Golden Noble, Orleans Reinette and Topaz, ensuring that we have blossoming and fruit-bearing trees throughout the season.

Walking amidst the colourful blossoms, you will find your mental health rejuvenated, as the natural setting alleviates stress, anxiety, and lifting your mood with every step. The diverse sights, sounds, and scents of the meadow offer a rich sensory experience, enhancing mindfulness and grounding you in the moment.
