A two-night black-tie celebration, where every detail is thoughtfully composed.

New Year’s Eve

• Arrive at Bovey Castle and ease into the celebrations with a traditional afternoon tea, served in our elegant lounges.
• As evening falls, prepare for a night of refined celebration.
  • Begin with a cocktail and canapé reception before a traditional piper leads you through to an exquisite six-course gala dinner.
  • As the night unfolds, dance beneath the vaulted ceilings of the Cathedral Room to live music, building towards a spectacular midnight moment.
  • Raise a glass of Champagne on the South Terrace as fireworks light the Dartmoor sky.

New Year’s Day

• A slower pace greets the first morning of the year, beginning with a leisurely brunch.
• Spend the day as you wish, whether exploring the estate on a guided walk, taking part in a round of golf or enjoying a traditional treasure hunt through the grounds.
• Afternoon tea is served in the Cathedral Room, accompanied by the gentle notes of our harpist, with the option to join in light-hearted traditions including nearest the pin and our much-loved ferret racing.
• As evening approaches, gather for a cocktail reception followed by a five-course celebration dinner in the Great Western, with music from our resident pianist completing the occasion.

2nd January

• Enjoy a final full English breakfast before bidding farewell to the castle and the moor beyond.

All prices are per room for 2 nights, based on 2 adults sharing. Single rooms £1,540. Please enquire regarding the option of double rooms for single occupancy. Children’s prices for 2 nights - up to 4 years** £200, 5-14 years sharing adult’s room £600 (based on a Castle Room and upwards). For all packages a 25% non-refundable deposit taken at the time of booking, final payment due 1st November. The package is non-refundable on cancellation. Extend the festivities and stay with us for additional nights either before or after the package at discounted rates.
