On 28 February 2026, Bovey Castle will host Battle of Eden 2026: A Night at the Movies, a cinematic dining experience where five exceptional chefs compete head-to-head with original dishes inspired by iconic films. Each course arrives as a mystery, with the chef behind every plate revealed only at the end of the evening.
This glittering event brings together culinary talent from across the Eden Hotel Collection, with each head chef presenting a dish that reimagines a legendary movie moment on the plate.

Together, the chefs bring more than 80 years of fine dining experience, having cooked for royalty, celebrities and discerning guests around the world. On the night, our guests hold the deciding vote, selecting the chef who will be crowned the winner of the Battle of Eden.
The evening forms the centrepiece of a luxurious two-night stay for two, beginning on 27th February 2026. Across the weekend, our estate becomes a living film set. Guests can watch falcons sweep through the sky in scenes reminiscent of The Eagle Has Landed, tee off on our Championship golf course with a playful nod to Happy Gilmore, or unwind in our Elan Spa in Gatsby-worthy glamour.
