Each country lodge has three en-suite bedrooms, sleeping up to six adults (plus two children on extra beds). The lodges are fully equipped with a kitchen that includes a fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher, microwave and an open plan lounge and dining area, where the beautiful views of our vast grounds can be admired from the balcony.

With the hotel a stones throw away from your lodge, you can always pop in and enjoy all it has to offer such as, the golf course, horse-riding or perhaps you would prefer to slink off to get pampered at the spa. For those of you with a need for speed, why not take part in the 4×4 driving experience that guests staying in the hotel and the lodges can enjoy. Hannah, our Activities Manager here at Bovey Castle has picked this activity as her favourite of all time. As there is “a real wow factor and sense of achievement at the end of it.”

There are also other thrilling activities that are bound to ignite some adrenaline, such as archery, air rifle shooting and clay pigeon shooting. Archery and clay shooting are especially well-suited for families to take part in and create some long-lasting memories together. All children over the age of 7 years old are able to participate. The archery sessions also offer those who partake the chance to become a real-life Robin Hood, which is a particularly popular experience.
