Why did you choose Bovey Castle for your wedding?
We were looking for an intimate wedding venue with beautiful grounds for photos and somewhere that would take away some of the stress of the planning. Bovey Castle exceeded all of our expectations, the colleagues were attentive and looked after us on our special day, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Leah our wedding coordinator deserved a special mention, from coordinating our suppliers, setting up our ceremony and wedding breakfast rooms to giving us a reassuring smile to calm our nerves. Thank you!

What made you choose the time of year? Did it relate to anything special?
We always wanted a spring wedding, the weather on the day was beautiful.

What was your favourite part of the day?
Between the ceremony and drinks reception, Leah carefully navigated us into a reserved space for us to spend 10 minutes together to calm our nerves and give us a few minutes to be together before we joined our guests.

Is there anything that made your day extra special?
Leah and colleagues at the castle made the day extra special. Our two young children were made to feel part of the day and now ask to go back and see Leah.

What is your top planning tip?
Dont worry about the little things, focus on choosing good suppliers and trust Bovey to take care of the rest.
