At Bovey Castle we offer on-site electric vehicle charging, allowing guests to recharge their car while enjoying the calm and comfort of the hotel.
Whether you are staying overnight, visiting the spa, enjoying afternoon tea or dining in the restaurant, our EV charging points make it easy to charge your vehicle during your visit.
We have four dual-port chargers available, allowing up to eight electric vehicles to charge simultaneously, with charging speeds of up to 22kW.
To begin charging, simply plug in your electric vehicle using your own cable, then follow the instructions at the payment kiosk located between the chargers.
Charging costs start from £0.66 per kWh.
Charging at Bovey Castle is designed to fit naturally into your stay.
Simply plug in when you arrive and allow your vehicle to charge while you relax in the spa, explore the gardens or enjoy time at the hotel.
Unlike rapid motorway charging, destination charging provides a steady charge over several hours, making it ideal for overnight stays, spa visits or leisurely dining.
