A Warm Welcome
We are excited to welcome John Mann to the team, as our new Head of Estates. John will be joining us early February 2023. He will be taking care of all the external areas of the estate, including the pro shop and greens.
Open Day & Wedding Showcase
On March 5th we’re opening our doors for an afternoon of show rounds, putting practice, activity taster sessions, wedding showcases, ferret racing, falconry, mini hand massages, and much more. It’s FREE to attend and open to all, so gather your friends and family, bring them along, and show them exactly why you are a Bovey Castle member.

Half Term!
Over half term we are back offering sessions for children to attend unaccompanied, giving you time to enjoy other pursuits, or just a bit of down time. Archery sessions require children to be aged 8 upwards, air rifles aged 10 upwards, 4×4 experience as passengers aged 6 upwards. The bushcraft skills of making dens and a campfire aged 6 upwards. A full timetable can be viewed on our website and as with all activities can be booked via our website or phoning 01647 445022.

Course Update and Upcoming Work
Tree work has been completed which has opened some canopies to help sunlight reach shaded areas. We have also completed tree work that will return playing lines to the original design.

Golf Members Dinner Dance
Our annual members dinner dance is back this February 24th so be sure to purchase your tickets. Join us at 7 pm for drinks before a 7:15 pm dinner. Awards commence at 9:30 pm followed by dancing in the Dartmoor Suite until the midnight carriages home. £50 pp. Call 01647 445009 to book.

The Elan Studio is Coming!
The Elan Studio will soon open its doors, hosting a range of Yoga and wellbeing sessions, both live and virtual. We’ll be announcing more details in the coming weeks so keep a look out.
