Pro’s Message
Congratulations to Ryan Fricker, our assistant professional for his Alliance wins at Trevose and Teignmouth recently. Ryan has been playing some great golf and is in with a real chance of winning the overall Pro’s prize despite playing less events than his rivals.
Captain’s Message
Whilst I struggle to find some fitness to be able to be back on the course, it was good to see my Captains picks perform at The Warren today in atrocious conditions, Dan and Phil Taylor along with Richard Loughton represented Bovey Castle and performed well. This was a cunning plan as we have drawn Boringdon at The Warren in the Palairet on the 5th June, good to see a course we do not play often and make this a date in your diaries.
It is with great pleasure that I can announce Dan McClure as our Dartmoor League Captain for the coming season, I see he has hit the ground running judging by the communication trail in his wake!! Please support both our efforts to encompass all the club and support the DML and SDSL leagues in 2022, all who put their names forward for our “member” day on the 26th March will have a game.
Do not hesitate to contact myself, Dan or the Pros shop for any information or help with any “golf” related questions you might have. Look forward to catching up with as many members as possible over the weeks ahead.

Course Update and Upcoming Work
10th Hole work has been completed and is now Ground Under Repair. The greens work has taken place and the greens have been sanded and are recovering from this.
The good weather will help ensure this recovery is as quick as possible.
