The estate is easily accessed from the A30, taking exit 28 at Whiddon Down, before following the route towards Moretonhampstead and North Bovey. For those travelling by train or air, Exeter St David’s Train Station is 17 miles away, while Exeter Airport is 29 miles away and Bristol Airport is 86 miles away.
Transport from local train stations and airports can also be arranged in advance for an additional fee, allowing your week-long lodge stay to begin with ease. Once you arrive, there is little need to rush anywhere, with your private lodge, the castle, dining, activities, spa, golf and the surrounding Devon countryside all close by.
