Bovey Rangers Ethos
Bovey Castle is proud to promote, through our Bovey Rangers activities, the ethos for outdoor learning through woodland and nature themed activity experiences.
The Bovey Rangers schedules are an inspirational program that offers all participants of the activities the opportunities to develop confidence and self-esteem through hands on learning experiences, in a woodland or natural environment. Together with nature themed resources and learning outcomes the Rangers activities aim to re-engage children with our natural surroundings.
The forest school ethos itself is a specialised learning approach that sits within, and compliments, the wider context of woodland and forest education activities; A variety of which are offered through our Bovey Rangers activity program.
With a varied, interactive and educational range of activities on offer, Bovey Castle’s Rangers program is a great learning experience for children wishing to re-engage with nature, country pursuits and lost knowledge in this digital age.
