Parents can relax while their young children are well looked after by qualified staff at the Playroom, which has exciting games and creative activities planned everyday. Bovey Rangers offers an action packed timetable for our 7 -14 year old guests, including survivial skills, pond dipping and raft building.

We welcome the tiniest guests and all facilities needed for baby care are available. Babysitting services can be arranged in advance, to ensure parents can enjoy a relaxed evening during their stay. For parents with children below school age, Bovey Castle recommends the Time for Toddlers break.

For ideas on where to visit in Devon, Bovey Castle's Devon Family Fun page is regularly updated with new and seasonal events and attractions that are all within easy reach of hotel. The nearby Dartmoor Miniature Pony Centre opens between March and November with tickets available from reception, while Pennywell Farm, the National Marine Aquarium and Eden Project can be incorporated into a day trip in Devon or Cornwall.
